Probably means a fault in the safety system. Not sure. Never dealt with those before Is it the one in the gauge cluster or the other one that controls the passenger airbag?

Have you messed with anything in the steering column recently? Maybe a wire was knocked loose.

There should be a code stores in the ECS module, if you have a way to read them. ForScan and AE will read that module.

Truck sat for few months and then light came on. Never messed with steering column. I have a scan gauge but nothing on it. My grandfather has one of those expensive snap on code readers. I will get it too him this weekend

Check the wiring connector under the passenger seat.

EDIT: Should have refreshed the page before I typed that, lol.

Yep suds is correct. The airbag light blinking is trying to give you a 2 digit fault code. It will repeat the code (or codes) over and over so you can count them and when they start repeating you have them all. It will blink the first digit, then a short pause, then blink the second digit. Google the codes up and find your problem. Actually a pretty simple process in comparison to the complexity identifying other faults.
