I have a 2005 mariner that I just had a new "used" tranny put in and my ABS and 4x4 light are now on it they were on before I had the work done I have read it being a tone ring.... But would that also make my 4x4 say disengaged I'm so tired of it always being something and o would like to figure this out with out taking it to be diagnosed!!!

 

My wife has a 06 Merc. Mountaineer and her ABS light came one I scanned it and it was drivers side rear toner Ring was cracked have you had your scanned for any codes ? Oh and I just replaced the half shaft as the rings are a PITA to get one on the axle with out breaking them I'm sure there is a trick and or trade secret O do not know about .. But her Tranny light never came on she has the AWD transfer-case But I think most will ask for a code or OBD scan info ?
