A few months ago I had a starter go bad on my 1997 F-150 that caused and electrical surge to the battery (best way I can explain it). Well after finally getting what I believed to be the electrical problem fixed that was causing this, and replacing the starter once again I'm still running into issues.
When I turn it over the truck starts up and the starter disengages from the flex plate. However, you can hear it still turning. I replaced the solenoid on the firewall at the same time as the starter thinking that may be part of the problem. I've run out of answers at this point and could use your guys help!
