My new-to-me 6.0 Powerstroke is running warm - especially on the highway.
~20k miles ago the following work was done:
Sinister head gaskets
Heads machined
EGR delete
ARP studs
FICM repair
Oil cooler replacement
New Ford HPOP
Now I get high oil temps on the highway 215 ECT/245 EOT and I suspect the oil cooler is clogged again. I did the flush with restore - the existing coolant was very clean though. I replaced with ELC. I wired a switch to the fan clutch and can keep those both about 7* cooler with the fan clutch going full bore.
Is the high oil temp causing my high coolant temp or do I have a radiator/water pump issue?
Temps at idle and in town cruise are ok, ECT might be a bit warmer than it should be, ~207F. Granted, it is hot down here in Texas and AC is always on full.
I haven't lost any coolant in the nearly 2000 miles since switching to ELC.
oil cooler is probably clogged...did the flush occur before or after the last cooler was replaced? Should have flushed first, then replaced...not unheard of to disturb the junk in the system after an oil cooler replacement and have it clog again.

I flushed it as soon as I got it. I don't know how well it was flushed before the cooler was replaced.
I added a coolant filter and ordered an oil cooler. Hopefully I can get it installed 4th of July weekend. I'll keep driving it locally to run more coolant through the filter.
I replaced the radiator a couple of weeks ago and that fixed the ECT. Oil temps came down some, but differential was still 30*
I replaced the oil cooler over the long weekend. Differential is down to 8-9* after 10 miles at 65mph.
Granted, it was 97F, but the differential still seems high considering a new radiator, no OEM oil cooler (oil cooler that came out was clear - but wasn't OEM)
Is something else wrong? There is NO EGR Cooler and I'm running ELC.
