Well, 2 phases of this yard remod are done, phase 5 is a quarter done and phase 3 starts tomorrow. Phase 3 changes the layout of my yard and is the major physical part of this project. Got to move my 4000lb fully loaded tool shed 6' one way and 4' another way, also need to shorten the parts shed 40", put in 2 doors and join the 2 of them together. Should be fun.
Got the inspection for the truck hail damage. they don't give me the estimate, but the guy said it had "quite a lot" on the drivers side and a few on both the passenger side and tailgate. Funny, my uncalibrated eyes didn't see anything on either side. I guess that's why he's a professional. The more, the better at this point. 90% sure nothing is getting fixed, just asking for a cheque.
I've notice the insurance adjusters here in Calgary are pretty generous. $1500 for my 79, neighbor got hid Cherokee replaced for driving through parking lot puddles and filling the motor with water, his fault as he did it for fun.
My Infiniti stays in the garage when the storms come rolling through! Lol. I think my work van had possibly a dent on the hood. Nothing serious anyway and its white so its hard to see anything. I haven't looked at my bike under the cover but honestly its old so I'm not too worried about it.
I'm starting to realize now why my insurance for a personal vehicle is higher here than my commercial insurance was in B.C. 37 years since last accident and 35 years since last ticket and I pay $1100 a year for a 75 f250, according to my underwriter it will be going down during the next year to a more reasonable rate to reflect the gold star status that I had in B.C. My insurance shouldnt be more than about $400 a year.
