I keep the batteries full charge but they don't last long cranking.the fuel lines look fine no bends or kinks. One line is longer than the other and would be hard to mix up.The fuel pump is 6 months old.I don't know how long it should take to fill the fuel bowl but I thought it was fairly quick.30-45 seconds of cranking gives me about 1/16th-1/8 of fuel in the bowl.I have been trying to get this engine to run for a month at my wits end with this POS

When I drain to remove water mine gushed out with a good stream like a dog having to go but in spurts.
Maybe something in tank blocking inlet.
Hook up a jug of diesel and put hose to inlet of pump . Then check flow. That should tell if tank or pump is issue.
In the valley the larger 3/8 line is the supply and goes to the top right port on the fuel pump. The return line is the smaller 5/16 line. Since you replaced the fuel bowl make sure those are connected correctly. Both lines on the frame are 5/16 but supply changes to 3/8 at the shock tower, unless someone modified it.
I'll add this. I once pulled the fuel bowl to replace all the hoses in the valley. Put it all back together without filling the bowl with fuel. It started right up and never even hiccuped. Granted the rails and pump still had fuel in them. My point is the fuel bowl should fill up pretty quickly.
Hussler and knottyrope have you pointed in the right direction.
I haven't done the jug yet but I will. When I switched to the rear tank and cranked it the bowl started to fill pretty quick. I checked the fuel lines on the frame.i have tried two known good fuel pumps..I am going to work on it after work today
