River Wild, the truck I drove did not have the larger Sync 3 screen. Just the standard 4" guy.

It sounds like there was a change after the brochure was made maybe? The brochure isn't matching what's actually in production. Oh well. Thanks guys.

I have the cloth bench seat, no console, but I special ordered mine this way and the SYNC3 was an upgraded option for mine as I ordered a basic XLT. Standard would have been the 4" screen. Maybe it's a Job 2 thing....

I could be totally wrong but.............. a bench seat has nothing to do with screen size.

The 8" touch screen comes with Sync3 .

You can get the 8" touch screen/Sync3 at any trim level including XL. With XL, you have to have:
1) either XL Value or STX package
2) Power Equipment Grouip
3) Ultimate camera
4) Sync3

I just tried to add Sync3 (w/ touch screen) to XLT and you could do it without the Ultimate Camera system. Go figure.

Looks like Sync3 (w/ touch screen) is standard on the base Lariat and up ....... even without the Ultimate Camera.

But you can get it even in XL/STX and I've seen a few on the lot.

But....... it has nothing to do with the seat.

You're not wrong. I have an XLT with bench seat and the Sync3 was an added on upgrade. It was only $115 option but not standard.

Last Ford I had was a 1968 F100 with a bolt in 8 track player and FM converter. The sound that my 2017 F250 KR is putting out is like a symphony in comparison, no need for mods.
