I've been driving mine around a bit too, feels good doesn't it? We are gonna have to get our trucks together one of these days, although yours looks a whole lot better than mine, maybe the next dinner.
We will have to. I think I have a few things to sort out with the brakes and something to deal with the steering, It's looser that I would like. But I can deal with that, if I can sort out the brakes. I might just cave and buy all new drums, shoes, springs, and wheel cylinders for the rear axle. I'm thinking of bringing it to Raeford July 4th, and camping out over night. It depends on what I can get done around the houses this week.

Unless the drums are wore out of spec, just get them machined, like $75 a drum for new ones.
So a few weeks ago, I lent the preacher my newer truck, and have been using the one ton for all my hauling needs. The new alternator is doing well, and have had no more problems with that. Thanks to @FordTruckfan89 for wiring that up. Next up is the steering. It's a little loose, also the brakes are a little weak, there are some squeaks and one really awful grinding noise. Once I send the preachers truck down the road (a\c issue) then I'll look to see if I can get the brakes bled (since that's cheap and easy) and see if it helps. Though I am thinking it's a leaky master cylinder.
Oh also noticed it has a leak somewhere, that drips right on the exhaust. Still lots of work to do, but at least it's coming along, slow and steady. Have to say, I've enjoyed having it on the road.
