I recently handed down my all original 95 EB to my son for his 16th birthday. He says he gets compliments weekly, from young people as well as old. In a sea of Wranglers, Tacomas and lifted trucks his Bronco really stands out!
The map lights have never worked in the overhead console. Never bothered me, but recently he asked if we could get them working. While purchasing bulbs, I found out that two small caps are missing. These caps hold the bulb in place and work as a contact point. Does anyone have any idea where to find these small caps? The interior will be back to 100% functioning if I figure this out.
I think I know what your talking about. They are basically the socket for the wedge base bulbs, but then they twist into the overhead console like a bayonet base bulb? Without these you physically cant put a bulb in there? If so, the ones out of the Ford Explorer consoles from like 95-02 are the same thing, and readily available in the junkyards, or you can get the entire Explorer console on Ebay for 20-50 bucks. I can go take a picture of mine if you need me too.
