Hey there guys I've got a 98 ford f250 light duty (same as the 7700 f150) and looking for peoples input on rims, I've found this set that I kinda like but want to make sure they can take a beating and do well with towing or if people don't trust them. Part number for wheels: ultra wheels 164-687p Thank you!!!
they look pretty heavy duty, and the one shown is for a 8 bolt hub or 3/4 ton truck... so I would assume they are rated for quite a bit of load and pulling. ...... even drilled for the 7 bolt hub.
Yeah I saw the weight rating and they do look nice and thick. But sometimes what the manufactures say and what the real world does is 2 complete different things. But I do like them and the price is nice too
The Jeg's pic shows a 5 lug wheel, but the part # on the Ultra site is for a 7 lug wheel. 164 is the style, "p" = polished, the rest is the 7 lug specific part #. They specify it is a "representative pic". That is the main reason I looked at the Ultra site, to be sure they actually offer these in a 7 lug model.
