I messed up
2 weeks ago I replaced the ball joints and u joints in my truck along with dropping the front diff and re sealing it as it was leaking. Well what slipped my mind was the actual axle seals. I completely forgot to replace them and now the passenger side seAL is leaking. Can someone please tell me I can change it out without having to drop the front diff again?

I feel so stupid for not doing it when I had it out. I know you can't do the passenger side without dropping it since you can't pull the axle out of that side. But mines leaking on the driver side with the short axle that pulls out. I. So mad I could spit nails.

I changed mine last fall. I don't remember exactly how I got that seal outa there but I sure didn't have to pull the differential. As I recall I used a slide hammer with a seal removal device on the end.
