4wd headers fit 2wd??
I am at a junkyard pulling some Hooker headers off of a 1970 4wd f250 360/390 and want to make sure they will fit my 1972 2wd 360.

On my 69 4WD F100 the passenger header has a large gap in the tubing to accommodate the engine perch. The driver side passes above the perch.
If they are in good condition and cheap I'd grab them. There will always be a buyer.
BTW, a 70 4WD frame is rare enough it is worth a look.

If I were you, If possible, I'd be looking at the frame, axles, and transfer case at least.

Meh. The rear axle should be a Dana 60. The front is likely a low pinion Dana 44. The tcase a single speed Dana 21... I'd pass on all of it.

I thought f250s had low range transfer cases?

I dont know why i typed 4wd, it was a 2wd 250.
Anyway, scored the heads, for $36 each, in great shape. I will have em rebuilt. Hooker Long tube headers for $25 each. Complete dual exhaust with Flowmaster for $32 eash side. And some West Coast mirrors for $14 each.

Sounds like someone got a good deal. I always seem to get skunked or ripped off when I go to the junkyard.

Ok, since you all are a smart bunch, who can guess what this is? I scored it for free because it accidently fell to the bottom of my tool bag, legit mistake.

Those are reflectors. They fold up vertical and can be placed on the road. Like modern day hazard triangles.

Well, that was fast.
They have a little red flag and spring rod that you attach to them too.
Kinda cool

F-250's got 2 speed Dana 24 TC's with low pinion close knuckle Dana 44 or 44HD's as fronts.

Is this a good deal for $250? It looks like an edelbrock 2105? And a Holley 650 cfm?
I offered him $200 but he says nope. He says that another guy just called him about it. Heck of a salesman, I like the guy already, lol.
