Steering Clunk, I have no idea.

Ok fellas, my truck has started making a clunking/ popping noise while turn left. It seems like its only coming from the drivers side and whenever I get a buddy to ride and listen to the passengers side it doesn't even happen lol. It only seems to happen at slower speeds and intermittently at that. Almost seems like something is catching. Pulled out of a parking spot earlier and it was louder than normal and seemed to shake the whole dang truck.I would hate to have my front end fall apart while driving so any help would be great! truck has 120K on it and to my knowledge nothing had been replaced when I bought it at 95K.

I have the same driver side clunk. Cant figure it out. Took the sway bar off, still there. New axle joints, ball joints are tight, tie rods look good. Shock bushings good. Drag link appears new. ?????

Hmmm. I've checked everything on mine and greased the u joints on the front axle and thought that had it worked out cause it stopped for a few weeks. Not too sure.

I think I have read about a frozen u joint that can cause this. Just greasing it won't take care of it. Something to look at.
Search for that on here and see, there was a way to test the u joint if it frozen or not

My hubs aren't Locked either. And I can spin the joint with my hand so I wouldn't think it was frozen. Not sure if I'm supposed to be able to do that. But I'll look into it lol.
