So I finally got my 460 back in and running, but on inital break in, I noticed the paint wasn't peeling off of one of the header tubes. I've checked and got spark and I've got 150 psi of compression, so that leads me to my question. The number 6 cylinder is the only cylinder I broke the fuel injector on. I replaced it with a new Napa injector, but is it possible that it could be bad? I need any help available, because I feel like I've tried about everything.
Was it a factory replacement 24 lb injector? It is best to replace them as a set. Even if it is the same flow rate, it my have a different spray pattern. You could be washing the wall on that cylinder.
Did you ohm the old one to see if the windings were intact? I suspect bad wiring to the one injector. Use a stethoscope or length of tubing to listen for the on/off clicking on that injector.
There's a chance that the one I bought is different since it is a Napa brand. Maybe I should try to find a ford injector? I broke the tip off the old one by accident so I think it was still good before that. Someone had told me the the ohms tester just tested the socket, not the injector itself, but if that's wrong let me know. I should probably try that next anyway. I could try to post a picture of what the spark plug looks like if that would be any help. It's not very oily, since the moly rings seated quickly yet there is a film of something on it. Could it be fuel!?
Clean the plug, swap the injector with another one. See what happens. If that cylinder comes alive, and the other one dies, the issue is a faulty injector.

Yes, you can ohm the injector itself. It should be a very low value, compare to a known good injector.
I've narrowed it down to the injector itself by doing both of the tests you guys recommended. My goal is to get a good one by this weekend and get it up and going again. Hopefully I don't run into any more problems.
