TIRE CLEARANCE QUESTION

Hope I don't aggravate anyone with my question. I did a search first, but couldn't find what I was looking for. I have a 2008 F-350, regular cab, SRW, 5.4 gas, 4X4 pick up that I want to put a leveling kit on. At the same time putting new wheels and tires. I'm thinking of going with 16" aluminum wheels and 315-75-16 Cooper tires. Will the 315's fit? I like the smaller rim size because it makes the tire look bigger. Is it a mistake to switch to the 16" rims? I intend to put an adjustable track bar on as well. Any helpful advice is welcome. Thanks. - Tom

16 will hit the brakes, the smallest you can go on an 08 is 17

That, I didn't think of. What is the biggest 18" tire that I can clear. Thanks. - Tom

There are other members that are running 37" tires on their trucks with just a leveling kit and some minor rub on the radius arms. 35" should fit with no problem.
