Let me know how your POI "Lo Clearance" goes. I "installed" mine and hoped it would automatically install on the SD card but there was no way to select the SD card.... it says it is installed but I won't really know until next week when I head out to upstate NY.
Guess the main unit has to be "FULL" before things go to the SD card?
My understanding of the lowclearance.com poi's is that they do get added as custom poi's, and if configure correctly, will pop up on the screen if you happen to be on a route where one is located. The "problem" I see with that is that the Garmin GPS's cannot be configured to "avoid" those POI's, so you may still have a route, and find that there is a low bridge(but get warned about it).
The Garmin RV/Truck models with the bridge info built in as mentioned here include those poi's in its route calculations, thus avoiding them all together. Then adding the lowclearance poi's as a secondary notification where garmin could be deficient would help.
The Garmin 760LMT is not always foolproof off of the main roads as well as on many cities streets. There is an 11 foot underpass near me that it wont show nor will several low underpasses in the nearby city of Schenectady, NY where many trucks and other high vehicles have met their untimely demise. Mostly, know what your 5ers height really is hooked up and be aware of your surroundings. Ours is now a tad over 13'1" and measured a week ago hooked up for towing just to be sure with a 2nd a/c now installed on the front vent hole and a 1" tall suspension spacer.
My good buddy Tom the Moderator was a truck driver in New York. He tells me that some bridges in NY a foot higher than what is posted and there others that are just the actual height. Another words you have to be a daily driver to know which are which.
Just a little note: took the RV 760 to the coast and put in a destination for Lenny and Joe's. That would take me under a low bridge. Had it set as if I had the trailer and it made a route to avoid the bridge. From the time that I deviated from the route it kept trying to turn me away from the bridge until we got to the bridge and told me that we would hit . found that amazing.
Still have to install the low bridge clearance program. waiting for son so I don't screw it up.
I installed the "Low bridge clearance" program yesterday and I don't really know if it is in there or not. So I will go for a ride and head for a low bridge and see if it is any different then what it was doing before I installed it.
I would have expected that there would be something that would have appeared on the GPS screen, but nothing.

The low bridge will show up as a POI (point of interest) on the screen, just like the annoying ads. It's a yellow square with the height in black.
The most important thing with any gps is to keep the software and maps updated...
The RV760LMT (lifetime maps and traffic) has map updates about once a quarter and I would guess I've had about 10 software updates since getting mine in dec 2014...
Last time I checked (and don't know if they still think this way), but Garmin would not recognize ebay as a legitimate reseller and so wouldn't honor warranties of units from them. YRMV
Ours 760 goes between the coach and my jeep (where we installed the backup camera mounted to the rear bumper below my spare)
did not know about e-bay and Garmin Warranty.. Thank You.
I have a Peak 3.5 inch backup camera for connecting the truck to 30 foot travel trailer.
and NOW the Garmin BC-30 for behind the Trailer, and keep and Eye on bicycles, and in-considerate Drivers that will not let you back into the right lane.
