GPS again?

I am looking at a GPS Garmin RV 760LMT with back up camera. It seems to have everything I am looking for. Truck and camper. F250 with extended cab and short bed. 5th wheel is 37' 4". So I shouldn't have problems with camera.

Also looking at something I have read called "Rv Safety First" with 'Route-1' Low Clearance Avoidance System used by the professionals. It seems to add a lot to bridge height locations, but wondering how it is interacting with the Garmin. Does it take all the functions away that are on the Garmin or do I have full use of both?

Best price I found is E-Bay for $439.99 compared to Amazon at $444.21.

What do you think???

POI's can be had at the POI factory.

Don't know if those can be imported into the Garmin though.

I have Walmarts, Truck Stops as well as low clearance.

Plus most of the RV GPS will account for low bridge, restricted width and no propane routes (tunnels and such).

POI's are built into the Garmin according to there specs. I'm not all that up on tech stuff. and that RV first safety says it will down load to it. Just a real concern as to the question of will I loose things in the Garmin when it loads?

I have the 7060RV and I have turned onto many roads (secondary) when the gps will light up an say on the screen that it does not have information for that road. Don't know where it gets its information from, but it is only good for the main roads I guess. And that is NOT the reason I needed it .... he]], the main roads ALL have federal standards that I don't worry about. I keep meaning to contact Garman about this but keep forgetting! I have CRS.

Thanks for all the information. After all the input like what BPofMD said about secondary roads and what the primary function of the GPS is going to be.

GPS Garmin RV 760LMT with back up camera, and the 'Route-1' Low Clearance Avoidance System should take care of the secondary bridge problem.

Just hoping that I've made the right choice. Time will tell.

I bought the Garmin 760 LMT with BC20 backup camera and am pretty happy with it.
You won't read a book with the backup camera, but you get a pretty good idea as to what's back there. Also - the camera does not have infra red so if you don't have backup lights on your trailer, the camera will be pretty dim.
These shots were when I first hooked it all up. They were a bit washed out from being in the direct sun, but you get the (ahem) picture....

Bought the Garmin RV760LMT / with back up camera yesterday on E-Bay. Spent $439.99 and will get it in a week. Going to pick up the POI "Low clearance" to enhance the low bridge data base.

I want to thank everyone for there input. A lot of good information and it did help me make my decision. All the pros and cons when added up gave me this result and made me look in different directions, that I would have never looked. Again thanks.

Let me know how your POI "Lo Clearance" goes. I "installed" mine and hoped it would automatically install on the SD card but there was no way to select the SD card.... it says it is installed but I won't really know until next week when I head out to upstate NY.

Guess the main unit has to be "FULL" before things go to the SD card?
