Code P2425 What is it?
Sunday on my home I got the dreaded check engine light. Checked it today and got code P2425. Was wondering if anyone knows what that code is and if it would be normally covered by warranty. I have a 2013 F350 Diesel 6.7 with 59504 miles on it. All stock.

If your somewhat mecanical, you can at least check the basics folowing the flowchart.
You'll need the VCM stuff with the accessories to perform the advanced tests, as their called for.
FYI, this info was taken from the 2012-2013 service information (Think Factory Service Manual) that can be found on Ebay) for a few bucks.
It's a great reference to keep!!!

You can ask the service advisor if the cooler is under warranty by looking up the part number. That you don't even need an appointment or have to spend any money. I don't know for sure if it falls in the 100K

Well the truck went into the shop yesterday at Ford to get checked out. they could not find anything wrong so they removed the code and told me to take it back and drive it and let them know if it comes back. I guess I will find out this week end when I hook up the camper and head out for the week end. Hope it holds ok. they said it was just probably a piece of carbon that got stuck in the EGR cooler and is gone now.
