IPR connection

He.lo everyone. I have a 1995 f250 7.3 4x4. I bought it with a lot of parts and pieces missing. Today I rebuilt the IPR but it did not have anything connected to it and I don't see see any available connections for it. Can anyone tell or show me where the connection for the IPR should be? Thanks in advance!

The IPR has a little metal/plastic like thing that slides over the cylinder of the IPR and is pictured in this link:

Alliant Power Injection Pressure Regulator (IPR) Valve For 1995.5-2003 7.3L Powerstroke

It is then held on by the small tin like nut at the end. If your IPR doesnt have that connection then your missing a big part of it!

Well, I've got a fully rebuilt and intact IPR. I just can't seem to find the electrical connector.

OH you mean the plug that plugs into it. Well is should be on the same harness that the fuel bowl connectors are on.

When I put my motor in (I had the fuel bowl and harness out), I couldn't find my plug either but that was because of me messing with it. The plug was squished under the fuel bowl and I was able to pull it out.

The harness that connected from the engine harness to the fuel bowl/IPR harness isn't too big so I'd try tracing the harness around the bowl until you find the connector and/or cut wires (if someone cut the connector off for some weird reason.)

it should be a small 2 female pin connector with a brown rubber weather pack seal and a wire loop type of clip that holds it together. my 96 is anyway. it is on the little harness that also has the water in fuel and fuel bowl heater plugs on it.

Ok. That makes sense then. Presently, I have the fuel pump and fuel bowl out of the truck. That's probably when I didn't see the connector. I'll give her another look today. Thanks guys!!
