Hello Errybody. Thanks in advance since for any help y'all can provide. I've been turning wrenches on something or another for a few years now, and I finally got myself THE Ford truck. I've had many, but the early 70's Highboy always has been my favorite. I posted some pics of the beast somewhere on my profile I think.
Anyway, Im the third owner in a short time. The last two guys both had strokes before they could get too much done with her. I hope to avoid that and actually get her running and driving in the next couple of weeks. I'm pretty sure that's not going to be easy, as there is no dash cluster, the top of the motor is missing and I got her with no gas tank or plumbing. The list goes on to include unknown condition of engine, brakes, driveline, electrical, and misc other who-knows-what. Needs some body work too lol.
I will try to not be too pesky; no promises
Yes. It appears that I'm going to have my hands full. Actually thinking of dealing with the front end first. Has the closed knuckle 60 with drums. Manual steering from the factory with all the parts (minus steering shaft and wheel) still there. Thoughts?
