I have 2003 f250 6.0, had the turbo rebuilt and I put it back in, my turbo is whistling but I'm also getting a humming noise kinda sounds like a when u down shift at high rpm's idk what's going on, I try and power break as well to build up boost and the tires do not even spin...Any suggestions

Sorry to sound dumb but what would be the best way to do that, pull the codes?

 

He is talking about a live data scanner, like a ScanGauge II, Dashboss, or Torque Pro App.

These read live data from your sensor locations on the truck and engine.

We need to know what some of these values read to be able to start to help.

 

Humming may be a harmonic from the exhaust tubes being stressed from poor alignment to the turbo. Whistle can be a poor connection of the boots on the pressure side. Low boost, low power.
