I am not sure what this part is called. I use it to close my driver side door. When I pulled on it, it broke off the screw. Age has taken its toll. Passenger side is great. Is there any quick fixes? I have the hardest time closing my door now.
I would remove the panel and put in new screw from the back side and be sire to try and not use same hole as the broke one. To take the panel off I believe it's all Phillips screws and or 7mm bolts and possibly some clips. Iv never owned older than a 92 so the panel is a little different. And to get the window crank handle off use a real small flat blade screw driver or a pick to get the clip between handle and door panel off. Or if u have the tool for it. Unless u have the plastic type handle, of so you pull out on where it connects and it's a torx bit screw. It's pretty simple to remove the panel on those trucks.
this seems to be the truck you have, he removes the door panel before anything
It isn't difficult but you need to pay attention and be careful not to break anything. If you've never done it on any car before I would just look at some YouTube videos first to get a feel for it
Of course you could also just leave the door panel on, clean up that fake wood crap and glue your handle in place.
To finish this post, I had to remove the door panel. Looks as though it was removed before and not all the door fasteners were in very tight. I did not remove the switches from the door.
As you can see there are three screws that needed to be removed (one that broke) from the inside panel. Then the door pull comes out. It has a plastic piece that had broken in three places surrounded by age old foam mold. The form had deteriorated and crumbled. But it still held together. Used an old trick - super glue and baking soda to hold/fasten the broken plastic together again. It seems tight and I put everything back. Hopefully it will hold. Time will tell I guess.

I just replaced the pair of armrests in my truck with new (poorly fitting) ones from LMC.
Shouldn't there be two screws from the bottom as well as three screws from the side?
