Door Ajar Light

Recently Purchased First V10 EX. It has a 2" Lift which doesn't impress me as I am not a lift guy but the price and quality was good.

What do I need to do to get the door ajar light to go off?

Are you able to lock the Ex via a key fob? If it honks twice it means not all doors are closed all the way. With us one of the rear barn doors gives us issues occasionally and I think it is a common problem with those and the lift gate not shutting all the way.

Check what Country Mouse mentioned first.

It's pretty common for the switches on the door latches to get gummed up and to require a "high colonic" of WD40 to get back into "regular" operation.

Or use PB Blaster on all of the latches. Either way it should help

Yep I used PB Blaster and it worked great but I used a lot of it, to be sure it was clean, and oh did it smell for a few days.

Yeah, that is my only issue with PB Blaster, the smell of it really does not agree with me, which is odd because I don't pick up smells on a lot of other things.

WD-40 has worked to clean up my door switches a few times.

The sticky switches are actually part of the latches, just spray your fluid of choice right into the latching mechanism and then cycle the door/hatch open/closed a few times to free things up.

I had one that wouldn't free up even after opening and closing the door several times. I left the door open for about an hour and it finally popped and weekend
