Is a 1995 and 1996 f150 compatable

I got a 1996 f150 with strong motor and a 1995 with a great body n blown motor. Was just wondering if their mostly compatable or this anything I should not attempt to swap over? Mostly just doing the body possibly cab

I think the easiest way to do this is put the 96' engine in the 95' truck but use all wiring/sensors from the 95'. The 96' is EECV (OBDII) and the 95' is EECIV (OBDI), but both are MAF. The physical engines are the same, just the controller system is a little different. Cab swap would require wiring swaps too.
