Service Engine Soon Light
Driving right now. Light just came on. Sorry, can't figure out a way to check tech folder through app if anything in there about it.
What can I check myself to figure out why light is on? Otherwise will take in on Monday. Just added quart of 5 W30 synth blend before our tow trip last week.
No noticeable issues. Seems to be running fine.

If you don't have a Scangauge, Ultra Gauge or ELM327 bluetooth dongle and torque app you really should.
As Restlesswildman said though most Auto Zone and Oreilly's both have scanners that you can use for free.
Since you tow and travel with your family I would seriously look into some way of monitoring your trucks Engine and Transmission sensors.

ASI NINGUNA MIERDA!!!
So I called an Autozone in San Bernadino just for giggles!
It seems that CARB has struck again in the Automotive world! Any where else in this country you can go to any of the box stores and have your vehicle scanned.
I will have to remember this if I ever move to California!

I carry an OBD II scan tool like this one at Amazon for $14 is every car.
Great for reading codes only. I also have an Android tablet with Torque Pro for more detail.

We have until the 28th before our Ford dealer 6 month power train warranty expires so need to figure out ASAP.
