CoP pigtail replacement

The pigtail on my #6/f cyl wiring is broken just before the connector. My question is when replacing the pigtails, do people just cut and splice with solder etc, or repin the new one so it connects correctly? Thanks in advance.

I put new pigtails on mine. I even ordered a spare for the next time one goes kaput.

How did you go about it? Just splice, or did you have the ends done to insert them into the junction block thingy?

The replacements come with a bit of wiring already attached to the plastic. Just attach the trucks wires via your preferred method, seal with heat shrink, and you are GTG.
