HELLO:
Is there a way for the forum members to tell me what is leaking by my pictures? I believe the yellow shock is the steering stabilizer? Is this correct? Can this leak brown fluid? If this is leaking how difficult is this to replace?
Does it look like I may also have a brake fluid leak? The picture is the passenger side front brake. The drivers side is dry and not dark wet brown color.
Where can I buy the shop repair manual for my truck? 1979 F250 4x4 Custom
It looks like its more likely an oil leak from above. Possibly a brake fluid leak if its squirting out and saturating everything in the area. How's the fluid level in the master cylinder?
How do I check the fluid level in the master cyclinder? The thing is rusty I tried prying the top clip off the master cyclinder but could not get it to budge.

Pry harder. Odds are if its that rusty it probably needs to be replaced. Which also means you probably need a full flush of the brake fluid too. Brake fluid becomes contaminated after a while and it also becomes corrosive.
What is a good aftermarket or factory replacement steering stabilizer? I am not looking to upgrade suspension at this point just looking to replace broken parts. Is this a good one? Rough Country OEM Replacement Stabilizer Cylinder
Or while I am at it should I install dual stabilizer set up?
I am going to replace my right and left front axle seals.
On a 1979 Ford F-250 4x4 are the inter axle seals located inside or outside the pumpkin?
While this is apart what else should I replace at this same time?
You'll need to take the axles out then pull the carrier out to get to the seals. I use a long bar down through the axle tubes then to knock out the seals. I usually take a ball of shop rags and stick them in the tube before the rod. It makes it easier to knock the seal out and not mess anything up.
