2015-16 coil spring codes

I'm sure this has been asked a million times and I looked but I couldn't find an answer. The sticker on my door says 6000 pound GAWR front what Springs would I have on the truck then the 5600 pound or the 6000 ??? Getting ready to mount my plow just want to make sure I can do it with the added weight of the diesel engine in the front I'm worried about the extreme V 2 9.6 . It wasn't a problem for my 5.4 but I had beef that up it weighs close to 1044 pounds it's a lot of weight up front thanks again

Go to fordparts.com for PN to spring rate x-ref. Note PNs can be year specific.
MY16;
....
F81A-5310-AHD = 6000
F81A-5310-AGD = 5600
.....

I took out 5C34-5310-ACC out of my '14 which are 5600, as I have a CCLB w/ camper package.

Have you ever weighed your truck, getting the front and rear numbers?

I don't recall ever getting close to 6k up front personally, I doubt you have anything to worry about, other than just satisfying curiosity.

Just a quick update went to my actual dealer today where I purchase the truck they had no parts guy yesterday. Basically the number on the spring is a engineering number you have to enter it into the system each year for a truck to get the proper number and they're different part number for each side and of course changes year-to-year I just don't get it but the good news is I have to six thousand pounds Springs, he said it's very rare that a 11500 pound truck would have less Springs doesn't mean it can't happen but especially with the upgraded plow package once again thanks for everyone's help this is extraordinary research even the dealer had to go through to get the right number take care

Why? If your springs are rated for 6000 and your front end is 5500, if you add a plow you're over.

If your springs are rated for 4000 and the front end is 3000, adding a plow will send you over.

If you don't know what weight is sitting on your front and rear axles then you don't know if you are over or not?

It's strange to be wrapped up in how much weight your springs are rated for yet you have no idea how much weight is on them?

If you know one answer but not the other, you've got no answer.....
