Just wondering if there is a rev limiter for the 4.0l ranger. This may sound stupid and all, but I was looking for anyone if they knew what RPM it activates and such since my 99 is tachless . However, it will have a tach soon just depends on how fast UPS can drive from California

I think that in neutral, it will limit around 3000 rpm. There is a speed limiter that operates around 92 mph. A aftermarket chip can take out the speed limiter.

my speed limiter is at 99, and my rev limiter is around 5300rpms i think
That's why we have a money back guarantee. Most Fords its a nearly 100% success rate. Rangers, about 50%, but it depends on your ECU code. Our company Ranger (2000 XLT Supercab) has it removed.
