Rev-x Question

I just had my oil changed today in my 6.0l and I have 2 bottles of Rev-x. My question is I have heard when you use rev-x during an oil change that you should pour it in the where the the standpipe goes. However I have driven the truck approximately 40 miles since the oil change so at that point should I just put it in like I was going to added oil or should I still pull the filter and standpipe off and pour it in there? Thanks for the help.

I think the idea it to remove the pipe and then
pour it into the hole that the pipe fits in. That
would put if right into the HPOP supply and
hit the injectors a bit faster and more concentrated
then if you dump in the oil filler tube.

You can still do it that way. Just as soon as you start
to remove the filter lid the oil will drain into the pan from
that housing. You can then remove the plastic stand pipe and
with some tubing and a funnel pour it in.
