5.0 efi. rev limiter?

Just wondering if the 5.0 efi trucks had rev limiters and if so what rpm is it?(i dont have a tach) Thanks

6250 rpm. At least that's what it is in the mustang 5.0's

85-86 do not have a rev limiter but the valves will start to float around 5500 rpm on a stock 302.When valve float occures the engine looses alot of its torque and horsepower drops of. it is refered to as "lugging" when driven at full throttle for long periods

It would take a brave soul to rev one of these past 4k for more than a brief moment.

I don't see how. Me and a few friends wind the **** out of 302s all the time and never had much of an issue.

Went to 4800 the other day pulling a buddy out an boy she didn't mind it , still felt bad and rubbed her dash board

I regularly took both of mine up to 5k-5,500. Can't beat the sound of a screaming smallblock. In my buddy's mildly built 302 Mustang I'll brave up to 6,500.
