Low circuit #3 injector

I had my truck scanned with a Snap-on scanner. It came up with a low circuit on #3 cylinder. I heard that it could be a frayed wire in the harness. Is there a place to look for a frayed wire? I am going to replace the valve cover gasket and one of the pig tails going to the injector. The VCG is a dorman and I thught it looked very light in comparison to the OEM. Any suggestions of where to look would be appreciated.

I'd look at the harness plug, and the under cover harness that runs the #1 and #3 injectors/glow plugs. Chances are there is a melted pin/harness running #3 glow plug, which has compromised #3 injector.
