More power

Am considering upgrading to a Banks exhaust system, however, I don't want to bypass the cat. Realizing that the down tube off of the turbo remains 3.5 inches for clearance purposes before jumping to 4, can't changing after the cat' with a bigger pipe and modified muffler and tail pipe accomplish just about the same thing?

Changing the exhaust without tuning is not going get much of anything in the way of power gains.

Tune the FICM, or PCM and then change the exhaust system, if needed.

Thanks - P

Yes. If you're wanting to keep the cat, just look for a cat-back system. Or you can find a turbo back system with a new 50 state compliant cat for the larger tubing. I have seen those kits as well. All kinds of options for the 6.0, just a matter of what you want to spend.
