High turbo temp
Hi everyone I'm new to the site but have been watching it an decided to join there seams to be a lot of knowledge about Ford trucks here. So here comes my question, starting about a month ago my 2000 F250 super duty started running some high egt s with no load on the truck. It has been running anywhere from 590 to 680 just running down the highway at 70. Running up a small hill or passing it's gotten up to 900 +. You can actually fell the heat from the turbo in the cab. I have had guys tell me it could be the waste gate, an one told me it could be an injector problem, number 3 an 7 any help would very much be appreciated.
