What's everyone have on the agenda for the holiday weekend. Ours began this morning with a trip to Dallas for a tailgating party leading up to a Jimmy Buffett concert tomorrow night. Lots of folks here, this is gonna be one hell of a party!
Sounds like fun. I have a buddy that does a Jimmy Buffet tribute show. It is pretty good, but not quite like the real thing.
I plan to rest my back, I sort of wrenched it moving around an aftermarket bumper for my SD. I went back to stock and sold this one. It was rated double @ 1000 tongue and 10,000 tow and it felt about twice as heavy as the stock one.
It would be cool to keep it around for a spare but I don't really like the look of it and there is almost no toe hold. I think the original owner wanted it for clearance for his weight distribution hitch because it doesn't stick out as far as the stock one.
Also I have no desire to heft that thing around any more, neither the extra weight on the truck or moving it out of my way again.
So aside from resting, I'm going to try to find someone who is having an F1 watch party for the Monaco race.

Well, I got my mowing in today. Tomorrow we're having a shindig at Tosha's grandparent's for lunch..
The pickup needs an oil change.. I'll do that tomorrow, and Monday will be mostly downtime.
Family cookout yesterday, cookout at a friends later today. Mowed this morning, got my birds moved back out on cords & getting ready to go pull an engine, trans & rearend.
Well lets see. I did an E brake cable, oil and filter, fuel filter, tire rotation and shocks on the truck. Mowed and bush hogged the place. Then had a cookout with the stitts. Was kinda glad to get back to work today so I could rest.
