Can't believe Zac's not even giving me crap about driving and working on a Stroke. Oh Well..... guess this chapter is about done.

Sorry to hear this, haven't seen our fearless leader around lately. :-(
On another sad note, here it comes again. This time I put the ATV and Mule up while I can still get to the end of the ramp. So sick of high water, but I guess that's the breaks when you live on a riverbank.

Truck's still high and dry from the last flood.

I find that ^ impressive. That looks like a car dealer's display rack some of them use on the corner of the lot. I have seen those offered for sale occasionally but I never considered it to have a practical purpose until now.
What is going on with the chain across the truck?

It is getting dusty over here, but everything is blooming.
I went to Memphis today and all the rivers looked swell. I picked up a 2 valve 5.4L to try to revive a 7700 work truck I got last August and finally got the title to it last month.
Nice day for a road trip.

The rack is just some 10" channel I had laying around, it been there for probably 20 years. My Dad's old Nissan 4X4 sat on it for many years.
The chain is to anchor the poles on the front. That set of poles and the winch come in handy quite often.
Water's still coming up quickly.

At least while the water is up I have time to work on other projects. Softail is beginning to look like a motorcycle again.

Meant to ask about that. Did you get the water pump changed? I've done a few. There aren't any real surprises. The stamped steel neck for the thermostat housing can be a PITA to reseal, but thats about the only abnormal thing.

Yeah, that's an easy one, not quite an hour to replace.
If I keep on I'll have a dependable truck, new ball joints and u-joints last month, new water pump this month, now if I can just come up with the $$$ for that set of injectors........

Yeah, that. Rosewood used to sell kits to rebuild your own, but I think enough people screwed it up that he quit. He's still one of the more competitive sponsors price wise on remans. At least the last time I checked. I'll admit it has been a while.

I've checked with him, with my luck I'll be in the category where everything is worn out and I might as well buy a set of remans. One set I have are at 245K and the others are over 300K. The $1200 or better is just hard to come up with at the moment.

Yep, still working on the house remodel as money allows.
I think the truck knew that this was one of two pay periods a year that health insurance doesn't come out of, took all of that and a few $$ more for the pump and anti-freeze.

Starting to see some "dry" ground again. Rain forecast for most of next week, so might be coming up again. :-(

Paint on the engine, trans and primary cases for the Harley should be dry, gonna try and make some more progress on that one tomorrow. Maybe I'll have it on the road before its too hot to ride.
