Bad Idea
Hey guys.
New kid on the block, got a couple questions 4 ya. 1) I have a 2000 Ford F350 with the 7.3 powerstroke (which i love) the oil pan leaks, the only way to repair it rite is to pull the motor. What the HELL was ford thinking! Iv'e heard of guys cutting the cross member and having it welded, not going there. Does or did Ford ever have a recall on that year truck for that problem. I'm pretty sure i know the answer but i have to ask. 2) Because i live in Wisconsin the salt, calcium chloride, soy sauce and whatever else the put on our roads are eating my truck alive. Spotted a 05 F250 with the 6.0 (i think, not sure what motor it was but i know they were JUNK)in prestine condition, can i swap my 7.3 out of my 2000 and drop it in the 05. I can get the truck 4 around 12,000 grand. Thanks guys any info would b great.
