Well guys for the year or so that I've been on here its been a great experience! Really great people with TONS of knowledge and always eager to help! But I got an offer I couldnt really say no too for my Powerstroke and am picking up an 05 Duramax this weekend. Selling my other Chevy too. So getting rid of 2 trucks for 1.
I know I know might make me a traitor! But I'll still pop in here and there! Hope all goes well for everyone and all those... "Another no start thread" that come in get fixed quickly! haha
I will say outside of a 6.4 the fastest truck I've ridden in was a Duramax. They make tons of power which I know you will like. Even with stage 2's and a s366 I don't know if a 7.3 would beat a duramax. That being said I prefer the 7.3 by far.
My buddy/boss has a dmax.its nice,refined,quiet,pretty trouble free...all the things I despise.I love my loud ,obnoxious,stinky ,rattly,heap...hope it treats you well.

That is just a great statement! I just got mine but I totally agree. I also hope the dmax works out well for you - driving something you really enjoy seems to make the time on the road more bearable, wherever the road takes you.

I havent made up my mind entirely on the 6.7 when it comes to reliability(only time will tell) but from the sheer fact that the 6.7 beat the duramaxx for the land speed record says something!
All they had to do was change injectors, compression ratio, timing, and a few other small things! lol Cant remember what their estimation of cost to do what they did... probably like 20k worth
But if I could afford a 60k truck and make it go 197mph with the mods costing another 20k ID DO IT! lol
