2008 E250 stop lamp

the manual here reads:

Normal Operation

When the trailer tow stop/turn lamp relay is energized, voltage is routed tothe trailer tow connector through circuit 52 (YE) (LH stop/turn lamp) and/or 64(DG) (RH stop/turn lamp).

When the trailer tow parking lamp relay is energized, voltage is routed tothe trailer tow connector through circuit 962 (BN/WH).

When the trailer tow reversing lamp relay is energized, voltage is routed tothe trailer tow connector through circuit 963 (BK/LG).

how wire one LED stop lamp for working as a stop lamp not a double bulb stop/turn circuit ?

1. was thinking 2 diode both left and right turn/stop, join both wires into the Petersen Pirhana LED. mounted on roof rack.

2. the connection would be at the blank cut trailer connector as above in the manual.

3. why is the trailer wiring avoiding the chassis computer generated malfunctions ?

4. ideas on how to add a piezo to hazards and turn circuits ?

suggestions on links to the subject online ?
