There was an SSV of the 09-14 trucks as well. There's nothing terribly sexy about these vehicles... basically an XL truck, limited options, vinyl floor, bigger alternator.
They need to come out with a PPV (pursuit-rated) as further competition with the Tahoe PPV.

Those are "push bumpers", not grille guards. They'll give you some protection, but they are primarily intended as a platform on which to mount equipment.
If you're looking for deer protection, you should be considering products from the likes of Ranch Hand and Fab Fours.

I've considered it (center punching a deer is pretty common around here) but it boils down to a $500 insurance deductible or a $2000 bumper.
