Thanks. It looks like invoice is $3440 for the Ultimate pack, but right now the step option is $375 and the moonroof option is $1295 (sticker prices) on the 2016 F-150. That's less than half, but I forgot I was also ordering the Navi, which is another $525. That means it would only cost another $1300 to get the rest of the Ultimate Package, which gives the power steering wheel column, heated wheel, ambient lighting, rain-sense wipers, auto high-beam, and keyless start.
Well, we have pretty much all those options in our Lincoln - I actually don't care for the keyless start, annoying that you have to push the brake pedal to start, the ambient lighting in the footwells is somewhat nice, somewhat gimmicky, power steering column is adjusted once and never again, auto high beam doesn't work all that well and can be annoying. That leaves two features I like - rain-sense wipers, and heated steering wheel.
I'll wait to see the total cost returned to me in my quote, although I have a pretty good idea.
Wonder what the price difference is between an F-250 and F-350?
What is the cost of the chrome package and how much extra are the 20" rims?
Guess we'll find out when my rep gets back to me with the quote.
I'm guessing my truck, at invoice pricing if I can get it, will be $63k.

Chrome package is usually around $1k I think, but does include the running boards.
20" wheels are usually around $1200.
Don't forget, you get the LED lights with the Ultimate.

Ford, just get the build and price up already!
I was thinking the moon roof was $2k, but you are right.

Chrome pack was $1300 on my 2015 F-350. I'm figuring $1500 on the 2017, plus another $1300 for the 20" rims. I think a long bed would look silly on 18's since these trucks are so big now.
My truck just got more expensive!

Guess I will have to wait 3 years instead of 2 to get what I truly want.
BTW, you guys are making me jealous ordering these new '17s!
I want the lights, but right now I'm in a position to buy one last truck and probably have to keep it for 8-10 years. I'll be honest, I've given (and am giving) serious thought to buying another 6.2L. I'm forcing myself to cap the new truck cost at $64k. If I go with the gas, I can pretty much have whatever I want. I prefer the diesel, but I'm also somewhat leery of that engine in the long term...with all the new ways Ford has come up with to void your warranty: (maximum engine hours, idling hours, stored "event" codes such as water in fuel, this issue, that issue, etc.) Part of me says "go gas, the 6.2L is supposed to get some kind of a power bump anyway, and it is completely trouble free."
The problem is that when towing very heavy, the gas engine will struggle, the gas mileage sucks even unloaded, and I just love the sound and power of the diesel.
I think the LED headlamps are option O-96U, actually.

Tough choice, man. If you cap at 64K, the diesel will eat a solid chunk of that. You tow often? Anxious to see power stats on the 6.2L...between some engine updates and a new G transmission, I wonder if 10% increase in efficiency is out of line. Looking at your signature, you're probably looking at a F350 though...same transmission as you had in the past, then.
The diesel scares me as well - I didn't even think about all the other parameters they can use to determine warranty...you're 100% right on that. Ugh.
The order guide doesn't make it clear, but I agree with Trover. I believe the LED Headlamps are included with the Lariat Ultimate Package - 96U. There is not an "options available" section under the 96U package list.
As a counter - the King Ranch Ultimate DOES list the LED Headlamps as part of the 96K package.
I sure hope 96U gets the LEDs, and they don't force an extra $1000 option on top. If they do, theres my money for 20" wheels, and I'll head to eBay or Craigslist for someone's 2015/16 take-offs.

Lariat Ultimate Package is 96U and the Quad-Beam LED lights are option O-96U.
I wish you were correct. I'm going to forego the lights for the 20" rims.

I'm thinking of going gas next time around as well. My fifth wheel is only about 9500 lbs loaded, so I don't need the power of the diesel. I love the ease of towing with the diesel, but it's not necessary for the towing I do. Plus, I can buy a lot of gas and options for $8k!
I don't think we agree, actually. I believe the LEDs are a stand-alone option you are eligible for only if you buy the Lariat Ultimate package.

and the Ultimate package only available on Crew Cab, that is disappointing.
LED lights should be a stand alone option on all trim levels.
The LED headlight option is on page 17 and indicates that 0-96U (Lariat Ultimate) is required and 60B BLIS. They are optional on KR with 60B but included in KR ultimate (96K). They are standard on the Platinum. Getting what you want is like navigating a corn maze. I think I have this sorted.
Totally agree. When it comes to safety items, such as the best night vision, these should be available at all levels.
