General Maintenance
Hi everyone! new to this thread. My grandfather has an 85 bronco ii auto/4x4 waiting for me in AZ... but I'm in NJ. I'm trying to get an internship out there where I will have the opportunity to fix it up and take it on a road trip back to my school in Auburn, AL. Anyway, when it was parked it was running but not well, he believed the carb needed to be cleaned out. It has about 80,000 on it. So I'd like to start ordering parts and sending them out there. To get me started I figure I'll need all new coolant hoses, a carb rebuild kit, and of course new fluids. Are there any gaskets I should be worried about? Any other parts that commonly fail on these trucks? I've only owned a couple volvos up until this point, but I've never taken anything to a shop and am confident in my mechanical abilities. Thanks!!
