Looking for more power
I have an 06 lariat (5.4 of course) it has had its cam phaser fix. Pretty much all mods include a K&N cold air intake, MSD coils, champion 7989 spark plugs, and a SCT flash programmer. I haul trailers in that thing. I guess the mods so far still haven't quite settled my "power hunger" lol I was thinking maybe a bigger throttle body? I don't really want to tear down into the engine and replace cams and heads etc. I'm just trying to squeeze as much power out of that thing as possible without getting expensive. I have a 77 f100 thats undergoing a full performance rebuild and thats taking most of my money and It has to be turning its own wheels before we move next spring. So maybe larger throttle body, headers, x-pipe?...... (some idiot didn't know you can't weld exhaust pipes straight to the hangers so everything behind my dual outlet flowmaster fell off) I'm getting a true dual exhaust system put on by smart people. I'm open to any ideas that don't have anything to do with internal engine parts

True duals will help. We just put a Borla single cat-back on my wife's cousins 2006 5.4 F150. I noticed the intermediate pipe right ahead of the muffler pipe was crimped. I don't know why because there wasn't anything near it. So getting rid of that pipe will surely help.
Another thing, Flowmaster's are one of the worst flowing mufflers. Get a straight through design like a Dynomax or similar. Magnaflow are decent as far as flow. The Borla are expensive but also flow well.
