Sway Bar 1977 F250
Guys - need your opinion on Sway Bar. I swapped leaf springs, and the new ones are about 3 inches higher then the old ones. They were built to remove the lift block so the spring sets directly on the axle.
The truck is a 1977 F250 Camper Special 4x4, and it has sway bars. The original sway bar end links looked too short after putting the new springs in, so I got some 2" longer from Jeffs Bronco Graveyard. They were for a fullsize bronco though.
Two questions from the pictures below. First the new are slightly different in terms of bends but they are pretty close where the mounting bushings go. Does that make a difference? Second, see the angle of the sway bar now? Will this be an issue or should the bar be level? The truck was still on jack stands so the axle was hanging free, should I unbolt until the truck is back on the ground, or does it matter? Sorry for so many questions, just want to get this back together right if I can.
