I have a set of springs from a F350 SRW. If I used these for the Excursion, would the ride be unbearable? The Excursion is a 2000 with a 7.3 diesel. With all the crap I haul with me, I am probably coming in at least to 8500#. My springs now are toast. If I load up a 6 pack of sodas in the back, the truck will sag. My friend told me to buy air bags but I think that would just be a bandaid. Funds are limited so I can't throw money at the problem to resolve it. I am hoping that the 350 springs might be an easy solution.
I just installed X/C's on mine and wonder how I ever did without them. I don't think it rides rough at all especially for a 3/4 ton vehicle. If you have them then do it- you won't be disappointed

250/350 springs have been used to upgrade Excursion suspensions for over 11 years now. It's a very common modification that appeals to most Excursion owners who want to upgrade their ride and eliminate The Excursion Wander (which we've recently discovered can be solved by altering front axle caster too) and has been documented in detail here at FTE.
