Good advice from aawlbernin...

You have boost leaks! You may want to do yourself a favor and get some Simple Green and spray all of those areas with it and then rinse with low pressure water...several times before you attempt to deal with those boots and clamps. You'll thank yourself later.

Then, at a minimum tighten those clamps up. Simply be careful with the clamp on each side where the boot fits over the plenums. Those are the only ones you have to worry about.

You should also check to make sure there are no holes in the boots.

I should probably just replace the boots, could you suggest anywhere else beyond the source listed above?

Thanks

Clay has the best quality or here is a source for the same quality- Search results for: 'boots'

or and I cannot vouch for the quality:

plus
http://www.dieselsite.com/1999-20037...erbootkit.aspx
you'll need both of the above

I have a mix of both Riff Raff and Dieselsite boots. RR down at the IC and Dieselsite on the spider. RR is a bit thicker and softer but both do the job just fine, no issues.

I am yet to replace the boots, The old ones appeared to be tight. I will be doing a through inspection soon. I did do the napa 6637. I am starting to think that it is just me. I want this to be my daily driver.... as soon as possible.

If you do replace them all it will pay to get the plenum inserts. The stock plenums are little more than sheet metal and don't allow you to crank down on them very well. With the inserts in there you can crank down to your hearts content. You may also want to look at their actual clamps too, but whatever you do, please do not use regular hose clamps, you will be redoing this job in short order if you do!
