no glow plug codes

Am i too assume there are no issues with the glow plugs if there are no codes?but my truck has a hard time starting almost like it gets no fuel. 2000 f250 7.3 i'm changing the fuel filter and oil today, does anyone have any idea. my truck used to idle higher in park and doesn't anymore. any ideas? thanx

No only california emissions trucks store GP Codes. Id start with the GP relay and then Ohm out the GP's

Is there any change in starting? The glow plugs really just help the truck start.
