95 PCM?

Can you post the numbers off the PCM as F4TF does not tell us anything. The last 2 or three letters say what it is for.
Most 95 PCM computers were numbered F4TF-12A650-??? or F5TF-12A650-???
It would also help to know what transmission you have.
Yes I learned that the 1995 For EVTM is miss labeled for the 5.0L engine.
I also learned that the 1994 & 1995 trucks with the 5.0L engine that did not have the E4OD or the 4R70W transmission were all SD and did not have SFI, they were MFI trucks.

The auto overdrive transmission in a '95 truck should have been one of the electronically controlled versions and if so you will have a pile of codes for all the sensors and actuators that are now disconnected. Code will tell the story.

Well I have learned that the 5.0 PCM doesn't work for the 5.8 runs great, until it gets warmed up, I'm guessing that the advance isn't the same, and I believe the injector pulse isn't the same voltage. But no worries I found the correct one on eBay, should have it by next Friday

The "right" 5.0 PCM (as in one for a speed density 5.0) will run a 5.8 just fine.
I really don't understand why you wouldn't spend the 3 minutes to pull the codes. Your check engine light could be completely unrelated to the 5.0 PCM being in there.
