Agreed Josh. That is something. Although I think it's more for show and bragging rights than capacity. A 2.5" from Curt has a 2700# tongue weight rating and 20k towing. Exceeding that, even with the new 17's is unlikely.
I saw that on Curt's page... I thought Class V maxed out at 20k pounds and a 2K # TW. So the mount may be stronger than the receiver hitch on the truck.
On edit - My SRW truck has a 1400# TW and a 14,000 pound trailer max via the back hitch. Obviously this is't true of GN and 5th Wheel weights. So a MAX TOW package with a 3" receiver may add some to that? Just guessing here.

Curt's big dog is indeed 2700# tongue weight Dak... and that's without weight distribution bars.
I think that will far exceed the 2017's rated conventional trailer tow ratings. So, my point it, the 3" opening is like having truck ***** hanging off the back of your truck...LOL.
My one thing is that I wish there was an option for 4 bucket seats rather than the bench in the back. I don't care about mega cab, but 4 chairs would be really nice.

I know they used to offer that on 05-07 if you got KR option. Must of been to low volume to carry it over on later models.
