Are you planning on power steering, headers, electric fan? I could help you with this if so. I originally installed my 351w going off measurements from the cab (driver's side cylinder head part of engine 1" clear) and found out later that this would not work when I decided on headers and power steering. I went with the toy st. box. I fabricated my motor mounts to suit the available space in the stock shock mounts and brake line to frame mount area, using factory holes in the frame.

My truck is a 49 f47, I'm pretty sure the frames are the same. Also with the electric fan I had to relocate the radiator forward.
